OK, so I'm looking for a £30-£40 pair of decent quality inner-ear headphones and I'm stuck for choice.

Sennheiser CX 300 In-Ear Headphones (Black)
Creative EP-630 Headphones
Sony MDR-EX71SL In Ear Headphones

(OR)
Boomgear SX100s

I'm drawn to the top two because they look really slick and nice. I currently own a pair of the Sonys, and although the audio quality is good, I despise the whole "one side is shorter than the other" style thing.

Thoughts?

Cheers

EP630 for the Y-shaped chord.

Also I posted the same thread in a few other forums and the general feedback points to the EP630.

The CX has a bit better sound tho - but the EP630 are cheeper. I dont mind J-shaped chords - dont see the problem ppl have with them?

I just realised, it's not that I hate. It's Sony's thing where it has a detachable jack connector half way up the wire. Without it, it's too short, with it; it's too long! The CX doesn't have that does it? How do you know the sound quality is better anyway?

What's to say the CX300 and EP630 aren't the same headphone, made in china with either cord style, then badged for each company? It may just be the Sennheiser logo and higher price tag that make them sound better. :p

Oh defo.

Just like the ole' Tesco Value Digestives = McVities Digestives :D

I'll get the CX300 as long as it's ONE WIRE, not Sony's god-awful jack splitter thing halfway between the phones and the jack plug.
