Which Headphones?

Need help deciding which headphones to choose.
Budget £125 (approx)

Used at the PC to listen to music (yt) and a bit of solo gaming.

I owned a pair of Sennheiser HD465s for a few years and liked the sound but they're beyond repair now.
I have used cloud 2s and quite like them also but they lack clarity.

I own a pair of Sony CH700N BT headphones that I use for work but I don't really rate the sound from these, it's ok but I bought mainly for the noise cancelling.

Looking at the usual suspects currently:
DT990 / DT770 / X2HR / HD599se

I don't have an amp/dac so would prefer to be able to use them direct from mobo. I would like to be able to use them with phone and xbox 1 (plugged into controller) if possible.

I do like a bit of bass and I like clarity.

Any advice appreciated.

FYI - I'm 43 and worked in a noisy environment for the last 25 years thus hearing range tops out pretty early.

After watching a few reviews on youtube and finally a review by metal571 I think I'm going with the Sennheiser 599se unless someone wants to talk me out of it.
These are a xmas pressie off my wife so I need make my mind up quick.

A lot of the music I listen to is acoustic guitar based and apparently these are brilliant for that.

A few reviews mention the Beyers having a harsh upper treble and that just doesn't sound pleasant at all.
 
Iv'e watched a few more reviews and not sure again...
I've been watching "see description" on yt and he pretty much gushes over the DT990 pro and hates Sennheiser. Does he work for Beyer?
I think I'm going to go with the DT990 pro and a SBX G6, hopefully that will produce nice results for gaming(10%) and music (90%).
Does anyone know if the software that comes with the G6 has an EQ that is usable?
 
some beyers are almost in my first good headphone territory like audio technica mx50's imo
I've heard dt770 didn't rate them at all compared to fidelio x1 or sennheiser hd 650's
 
I have the HD600 which even second hand are out of budget by a bit.

the X2r is within budget again on the rainforest. Grab a set while you can. For the price they are great. I’ve just bagged a set the warehouse section in ‘as new’ condition for £90. They sound very different to my 600s so will be a great second set.

Which site?
If I use the europe site I can add to basket but the radio buttons do nothing. If I use the global site I have to phone.
Keep trying the site and it def broken, tried it on home pc, work pc, android, different browsers etc..

Koss Porta Pro? about on par with those headphones with an agreeable sound, lively, bassy type of sound. The 599SE are quite muted, bass is car stereo undefined effect. DT990 are bright, bassy, cleanish. 770 are decent closed backs for the price, well built, bassy, bright, airy.

I'd say go Porta Pro then pocket the cash for something else, more fun, musical, easy to drive.

Thanks for suggestion but I can't stand on ear headphones.
 
Apparently Beyrdynamic is not delivering to UK due to Brexit negotiations.
There is a link to amazon store but they only sell the tygr 300r bundle with mic.
Oh well, DT990 pro and SBXG6 it is then....I think :-)
