Which headset?

I've got an X-Fi Fatal1ty, and rather fancy a good set of phones to go with it.

I'll be using CMSS3D, so I don't need a surround set. Need a mic, though, I'm an avid VOIP user in BF2.

I've read a few good reviews of the Logitech Pro Gamer set, looks good, and I've got the option of buying one from a certain shop tomorrow.

Ive just got an Altec Lansing and if you like bass then they are lovely.

Yeah, buy them seperately. A good pair of headphones and a mic

I've been on a quest to find the ultimate headset for a while now and it has taken me ages to better the Beyer DT234pro's I've had for a while. Even the high end Senn PC160's at twice the price weren't as comfortable and didn't offer any better sound performance. You can pick up the DT234's for around £40 if you shop around

I have finally settled on a pair of Beyer DT290's which are superb but I had to get a custom cable made up (for some considerable cost) as they're usually used proffesionally and aren't generally plugged into a PC sound card.

just bought the Altec AHS602 5.1 Gaming Headset last week and have to say they are superb, you have the option for ss or not. They are pricey, but they are on offer this week from OcUK Here

Grrr, i was going to buy a pair of those 602s. Looked at them in college on offer, then got home and they had been taken off so i got the 502s, and now they are back on special
