Which headset ?

Hi all,

Been digging around on which headset to invest in. And was hoping I could pick the brains of the userbase.

By bro has asked for a complete VR setup so I started to look at which headset would be best invested in and future proof. He uses the PSVR frequently but wants to get access to more titles.

The Quest 2 seems to be the product of choice, but unsure if it's spec is better suited to the Occulus store titles. I realise you can plug/wirelessly connect to a PC which I assume would give you access to other PC based titles but it's at this point I begin wondering if a dedicated headset would be a better choice.

Is the Quest2 able to play all titles when PC connected? it sounds like the only viable option today

So I got my Quest 2, pretty damn impressive compared to my PSVR and when I was using the Samsung gear and my s8+. Annoyingly my old Oculus account (with the S8) none of the games seem to port over but I guess thats limited to the device I purchased them under.

So far I've spent most time flying around in Google Earth VR from steam, the WiFi on 5Ghz seems rock solid, just amazing. So thanks for the recommendation.

I just need to find some games to delve into the VR Lab from Steam is pretty cool, I'm sure I'm just getting started so any recommendation be it Oculus, Sidequest or Steam would be appreciated.

My home PC is a 3700x with a 2080 Super so handles stuff pretty well (all thanks to the recommendations here)
