I am looking for a new Heatsink for my processor and would welcome any suggestions. I wanted to get myself the Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme but have heard it won't fit on my Motherboard without modification to the Motherboard itself. I currently have the Gigabyte P35-DS3P with a Q6600. Does anyone know first hand whether this HS will fit this board without any modification? Or if anyone has any other suggestions for decent cooling it would be much appreciated.

It might foul the massive heatsink on the northbridge but down't forget you can mount the HSF rotated by 90 degrees so the fan on the HSF would face the power supply, that should work but I'd wait for a person with the exact combo to reply.
