Ordered a Thermalright Silver Arrow over a month ago however Overclockers still dont have stock and have offered me the chance to swap it out for something else,

But the reason i went for the Silver Arrow was because it was highly rated by guys on here,

now im stuck and confused,

should i wait or get something else?

The Dark Rock is a good cooler but not quite up to Silver Arrow standards. I'd go for a Noctua NH-D14 or maybe that new Phanteks one if you want Silver Arrow-esque performance.

The Silver Arrow is a tad cheaper and IMO the best value of the (literally) big three, but if it's not available then them's the breaks.

Noctua nh-d14 is the best cooler all round really I'd go for that but the price is silly on ocuk at the moment.

atm my stock cooler is happy, so think i might wait. really had my heart set on the silver arrow.

The noctua is better imo I kinda agree with below review better mounting better ram clearance better fan clip mechanism and probably better temps than the silver arrow using the thermalright ty-14 fans those are a big reason why the SA slightly beats the noctua.I wanted a silver arrow but have warmed to the noctua now.
