Hey, I don't know whether I should save money and just go with the standard Heatsink or choose one with copper heat pipes. Basically I'm not planning on overclocking or anything but I will be using my PC for gaming primarily. Will I just be fine with a standard cooler or should I spend a bit extra to be safe?

Edit: PC components are:

i5 3570k CPU
Nvidia GeForce GTX 660 Ti GPU
16gb RAM
750W PSU (Gold rated)
Zalman Z11 Plus case

whats your pc components?

stock cooler is fine if not overclocking, aftermarket coolers are always quieter and essential if you plan on overclocking the cpu later

Gaming will kick up a fair bit of heat inside your case and the stock cooler really is pants.

Yes it'll work but to be honest I would prefer to keep the components cooler rather than hotter.

Even a cheap cooler along with decent intake/exhaust fans for your case will be infinitely better than just running at stock
