Which Heatsink ?

I bet your 5770 is the next loudest/hottest thing,me id have to upgrade it to a non ref 7850:D;)

I could never hear it over my CPU lol will have to test that next and see. I am due an upgrade but funds are a little tight at the moment.
 
Yes, ET6. I use PWM system fans plugged into PWM splitter / hub with PSU power. Like Swiftech 8-way PWM hub or Gelid 4-way PWM splitter. Don't like the Akasa ones.

Tealc on forum here make PWM signal controlled 3-pin hubs. Very good and reasonable prices.

Stock fan temps was 50c at idle checked this before i done the install, im not sure what it was at full load.

The stock heatsink that came with my Haswell is about half the height as the one that came with my Core 2 Duo. Crazy stuff.
 
It seems i was too quick to praise this cooler. The fan has started making a high pitched noise. I have stopped the fan running to make sure, and it's the CPU fan making the noise. I don't want to send the whole thing back because of a faulty fan, can you just get a replacement fan ?
