Ok, I've just found I can fit one of these indash DVD player things in my coupe.

I've narrowed it down to three. So which one do you think looks best.

Functionally I think this one is best as the SD and USB slots are on the front (so unobstructed by my dash).

However I also like the looks of this one...

middle one, the other 2 kept drawing my attention to the buttons (not just because of what was on screen either)

Personally none of them - they all look like cheap, tacky no-name Taiwanese junk. Go with a reputable brand or your sound quality will, IMHO, suffer.

Arguably in-car DVD is pointless unless you spend a lot of time sitting in Maccy D's carpark (You can't exactly concentrate on a film when driving, right?) so you'd find your ICE system would be FAR better if you spent the same amount of cash as one of those cheap DVD things on a decent high end conventional head unit.

Not just sound quality.

There's been a few threads regarding these units on TalkAudio. There was one that looked like the JVC unit... it was gash, a very crap unit.

Bug One, how much do you have to spend? Had a look at the JVC units?

none of the above, get an Avix-X1 instead. Better screen, plays DVDs, ipod compatible (with interface) bonus of full Europe sat nav

Are they from 'that popular auction site' if so they will be cheap and tacky :(

That screen is way to small to make it worth while playing DVD's aswell.
