Which Hub?

Hi all, so i've only ever used the hub that comes from my service provider.

at the minute this is a BT hub, but with my contract due to end I might change.

Now i've got a couple of mesh nodes scattered around but wondered if a better hub would help things, especially at the far end of the house.

Or do I just keep my current hub and get better/more nodes?

Depending on the model, the HH’s weren’t actually that bad from a WiFi coverage/throughput POV relative to other AIO devices. If you are using a mesh set-up, changing router will make little difference as presumably you are using the mesh nodes to connect to anyway. Mesh with a hard wired backhaul or a dedicated radio for the job will generally be better, but without knowing what exactly you have and what specifically it isn’t doing that you need, it’s too vague to give a useful answer.

Agreed - unless you have a requirement that the BT HH can't meet, why change it? The wireless performance is generally excellent and they are extremely flexible in terms of the modem/WAN interface hardware you get. But if you want something that looks straight off the pages of manga comics then it does look a bit meh...
