Which Hybrid?

sooo which hybrid 1080ti is the one to go for? The evga ftw hybrid is about to come out soon but im unsure on them all. Haaaaalp

1080ti hybrid choices are basically the EVGA SC2 Hybrid ~£860, the Inno3D iChill Black ~£840, the MSI Sea Hawk X ~£900 or lastly a reference card + the EVGA 1080ti AIO HYBRID ~£740 (but you have to assemble it).

Pick whichever you like the look of and/or the warranty you prefer, aftermarket 1080ti's all basically boost and overclock to the same limit (obvious exceptions for the Kingpin/etc ones that cost as much as a Titan Xp).

Personally id go for any card which allows cooler removal and just get the EVGA hybrid AIO and install it your self. Then you can sell on the card and keep the hybrid cooler incase you wana upgrade in future. Also costs less this route.

haha, just done the order a few minutes ago. Unfortunetly i've probably missed the cut off time so i can look forward to my evga hybrid on tuesday.

Now to work on selling my 980ti hybrids

Edit - i stand corrected, ocuk just emailed me saying its shipped. How about that awesome service!!! Order received and shipped within 45 minutes between 4-5pm!

Why didn't you wait till Monday week coming for the 1080 ti FTW3 Hybrid.

I had the SC2 Hybrid, and it was great. But had to sell it for the FTW3 Hybrid.

knew it was coming soon, but the sc2 is cheaper and from what i understand the only real difference will be that the ftw3 has a custom pcb and rgb lighting? Maybe even clock slightly higher?

@Gabbatek Aorus has a new Hybrid coming out, lacks the shroud fan so pretty much a full AIO piece of kit and 4 years warranty i think, no idea when OCUK will stock though

SC2 is 8 pin + 6 pin PCI-e, FTW3 is 8 pin x2 PCI-e. Guess it could potentially affect overclock limit.
