So I've got a Asus B150i Pro itx motherboard that I've paired with a G4560 (was a budget build). What other CPUs can I use on this for about £100 or so?

I believe it uses the LGA1151 CPU socket.

I have a b250m paired with a g4560 and exploring upgrade paths too.

Even if I splashed for an i7 7700k and got lucky to get one used for say 220 quid (there's one on ebay atm at 206 quid with 3 days left and 11 bids so far) it's no better according to cpubenchmark.net than getting a r3 3100 with a new board which would be ~ 95 + 60 = 155 quid for brand new, so could do cheaper if look used. Or looking at a r5 3600 with the same board for 240 quid, it totally blows the 7700k away.

For 100 quid you might be lucky to get a i5-7600, which is really inferior to the r3 3100 I mentioned.

If 100 quid is a hard limit then it is tricky because the new mobo cost (even a cheap one) is a very significant part of the total. If you can squeeze the 150 for a r3 3100 then that's a big improvement on any value you could get from your b150
