Which Intel CPU for HTPC?

Which Intel CPU should I be looking at for around £60 (new or used) for a HTPC with a GTX 750 Ti for 1080p/4k hardware decoding?

I'm pretty sure anything Haswell onwards has Quicksync for hardware decoding.

I will be using the GTX 750 Ti for hardware decoding but would the Pentium G4560 be a better CPU than the Celeron as I can get a used G4560 from the bay for £40?

In which case pretty much any CPU should do the job if you're doing it all on the GPU. The CPU is going to be doing very little.

depends what board you are using?

ive got a celeron g3950 that even with a gt 710 would make a good HTPC, i got lucky getting the processor and the board im using for £50 on a private sale, but both new, hell i had an AM1 system with a quad Sempron 3850 that did the job on its own and with a 1050ti, so you could go the AM1 route.

I would get the Athlon 200GE as its relatively cheap,and only has a 35W TDP.
