Which is a better gaming pc?

a pc from a pc shop with
q6600
3870 ati
4 gigs of ram

or a custom:

e4500 2.2ghz
ati 4850
4gb of ram 800mhz
160gig hd
500w psu

as said, remove the link, but also go with a custom, the price of your linked computer will get you an great custom pc. there's really no need to spend that ammount anyway.

CPU from the shop is better than the custom pc cpu. However all the rest is better on the custom.

There's nothing to stop you upgrading the CPU on the custom job at a later date anyway, go custom, it's what real men do.

Go with the custom one. But if he is building it new don't get the 4500, go with a 5200...although I assume he is taking some of your parts judging by your sig?
