IMO both offer similar performance, the voltages ranges are different though, I did buy Ocz platinum for an Asus A8v recently because the Muskin voltages just fell outside the A8v voltage range, I achieved full ddr500 with the Ocz platinum. The Muskin wasn't able to accomplish this as it needed more volts.
 
Either would be a fine choice, I haven't had both but a friend had the Mushkin which I set up for him and it really is superb it did far more than it said on the tin.

I've had many OCZ ram types but not that one but my experience with OCZ is all good every set did more than it's rated spec, so pick away flip a coin or whatever I doubt you would be unhappy with either. :)
