Which is best for games Realtek ALC889A or Audigy4

Hi fellas

I am currently using a SB audigy 4 card linked up to the Z5500 with the 3 analog plugs . Ive never had any problem with it, but im just wondering if i would be better using my on board realtek ALC889A. The Realtek has an optical output, the SB does not.

I believe the Audigy would be superior

Hi RobRX-7

If you have an AV Amp, I would use the Realtek optical output for music ( PCM Stereo) and your sound card output for games.

Try both and use what sounds best to you!
