no doubt i will have millions of questions :-)

I've just gone from an 8310 Curve to a 9000 Bold and I much prefer the keyboard on the 8310. The keys are separate entities and I find I could type much faster on the Curve than I can on the Bold. The Bold feels smaller because it's slightly thinner but it's actually fractionally larger both in height and width.

I'd like my Bold to have the Curve keyboard. It's far easier to hit the wrong key now.

Should have got the 8900 curve then...i had one but couldnt get on with as the keys i found were bit too strange for me...i can type pretty fast and accurately on the Bold and the size isnt a problem...i actually quite like the width and thickness of the Bold compared to the 8900 curve...which imo is best suited for a woman as its smaller, lighter and thinner.

I was stuck between the two but went with the curve in the end due to ram, camera, size and also keypad. I much prefer the curve pad the buttons seemed a lot easier to press and I was much more accurate on it. 2G is so slow though! They really need to release a 3G curve.

Which they will...well its not really a curve model but the new upcoming Onyx will have the same form factor as the 8900 curve but unlike the 8900 it has 3G and uses the same keyboard as the one found in the Bold...3.2mp camera as well and supposedly a faster cpu than the Bold...it might also have a trackpad rather than the trackball...i think the ram will be the same as the 8900 curve.

Should be out by end of the yr if what im hearing and reading is true over at crackberry.com.

Personally ill probably get one off line but the one im waiting for the is the much rumoured Magnum, full QWERTY keyboard, touchscreen and 3G goodness with either a trackball or trackpad...that will be next flagship phone from RIM....much like the Bold is now the flagship device from RIM.

Oh another thing i dont like about the Curves keyboard is that its far too noisy...the Bold keyboard is much quieter and nicer to type on imho.
