Which is better?

I have been given a choice of machines for work, but which should i go for?

1:
Intel Xeon 5110 Dual Core (1.66ghz)
2gb Quad Channel FBD Memory (2 x 1gb)
250gb Hard Drive
19" Dell

or

2:
Intel Pentium D 945 (3.4ghz)
1gb mem
160gb hard Drive
19" Samsung 940N

I mainly use, Illustrator, Word, Excel, Outlook and a little bit of Photoshop.

I'd go with option 1 as I reckon the 2gb is likely to make more of a difference than anything else in the specifications.

First one for sure. While the CPU might be slightly slower (and I'm not even sure on that front) the extra RAM and hard drive space will be far more important.
