Which is better?

Laptop dedicated graphics card of 64 meg or a laptop with shared graphics up to 798meg?

The dedicated cards are usually faster, however, if the dedicated card is exceptionally low-end, the intergrated graphics may surpass it.

Which two are you comparing?

Well none in particular. The brand new laptops ones in my price range have on board graphic up to about 1000meg, but a lot of older laptops have the dedicated ATi graphics card with 64 meg.

I'd go for the dedicated graphics chip.
I have an old D610 with an ATI X300 that easily out-performs the intergrated graphics in most notebooks.
