I have 6GB of dominators GT DDR3 1866MHz, i7 DO, 5870 ATI

I want to of course overclock and want something that will last me as this will be my last build for quite a while.

I dont know which to get the : Asus Rampage 2 extreme board or the Asus P6TD Deluxe, money isn't a problem so dont mind paying the extra £50 or so. Is the sound card that comes with the rampage better than the on board P6TD sound card?

Any help would be much needed and appreciated?

Any soundcard that's not onboard is better than the onboard one : ).
Even 6yr old soundblaster 24 worth 5quid.

But if you're only going to pay extra 50 for the soundcard itself you'll better be off just buying soundcard separately.

Both boards are good I suppose.

So I should probably say Rampage II Extreme, because it's the most expensive...but really the most suitable question is what are you going to use the PC for?

The P6TD overclocks like a dream and you should see some nice numbers on a D0 920 (I guess that's your CPU, you dont state it above)

If you're going to be going crazy with LN2, then go with the Rampage (The VRM's stand up to a lot more pressure) but if you're thinking of water or air then you'd probably be best served going for the P6TD and picking up a Xonar card (If you're fussy on audio) :)

Hope that helps, shout if you've any questions. :)
