OK so I have a Corsair H60 AIO CPU Cooler with two SP120 fans , they are setup so that they are pulling air out of the rear of my 750D Case , my Idle temps are 29-31c....when on BF4 or BF3 my temps go up to around 50c...this is my current setup .

Like so.

When I have the fans setup to pull air into the case my Idle temps are around 26-27c when on BF4 or BF3 my temps go up to around 44c

Like so.

the other fans in the case are as follows....3xAF120s at the top pulling air out of the case and two AF120s pulling air into the case at the front

So which is a better setup up ...or does it not really make too much difference please

thanx :)

The better setup is the one you get better temps with ;)

Having air pulled into the case will provide better cooling but also more dust.

From what I understand, with air cooling you should always have more air being pulled into a case than getting pushed out for best results.

Using your rad as an intake will give better temps for the components that it cools but worse for the rest as you're adding heat to the case rather than venting it.

If your other temps are still fine then it's not a problem though. I didn't look carefully enough to work out overall air flow routes in your case.

On dust: People generally aim for slightly positive pressure (more in than out) to minimise the amount of dust that gets in via openings other than those actively drawing air in, which will all have filters. Note: By switching your rad fans around you should now be adding a filter to that intake which it previously did not need, which will reduce airflow slightly and will reduce the temp gains you've seen.

Edit: A quick review of your setup and I'd switch it to have the top and front fans intake, the rad push out. Should keep decent CPU temps while cooling the GPU better as well as improving airflow over the mobo.

Ideally you want your front & top fans to intake and your rear fans to exhaust. I'd move your H80 to the front/top of your case as an intake and your rear fan as an exhaust. This may increase your internal case temp by a few degrees, but with the temps you have, that's nothing to worry about.

OK guys thank you ...some good ideas there...I shall ponder these while sitting with my Daughters sexy school teacher today :)

EDIT:

So I'm going have the H60 Cooler placed as the exhaust ( Noise Blocker E Loop 120 ) and the remaining fans ( 2 top and 2 front) as intake .

Update lol

That was OK for my CPU...but the mobo right from booting up was sitting at 27..maybe not that high a temp...but with the fans at the top as out take..the mobo sits idle at 23
