Hi
Could you please help me decide between FiiO E10K or xonar u7 external sound card, for better sound in fps (to hear enemy footsteps) I have sennheiser595 headphone. Or maybe just upgrade headphone to akg 702. thankyou very much

U7 for positional sound, as the E10K is just a stereo DAC/amp.

HD595 will be a good pairing with the U7; K702 not so much. HD595 are much easier to drive than the K702, which need a more powerful amp than what the U7 has.

E10K has a more powerful amp and will do a much better job with the K702, but no positional sound. You'd need to rely on any positional sound the games you play might have built in.
