Which is faster?

I have been reading up recently about ram latencies and clock rates etc but, i can't find a definitive answer to something i have been pondering.

Which would be faster in an i7?

DDR3 running at 1333mhz with a latency of 7-7-7-20
or
DDR3 running at 1600mhz with a latency of 8-8-8-24

And before people say: 'I don't know, try it.' I can't as I don't possess ram capable of running these specs.

Any help is appreciated.

The difference is VERY small and only detectable with benchmarks. You will never notice the difference in real world usage. And, one setting may be "faster" than the other depending on how you test it or what application you are using. So it is not a straight forward answer.

The real question is, do you plan to overclock your CPU? If yes, get the 1600 as the 133 could easily be a bottleneck if you plan to do any serious clocking.
