Previously I got on OK with ReLive but I really struggled with it in the last month or so when it basically refused to record.

I am now have a Nvidia GPU but GeForce is already proving unreliable in recording clips.

Is there any good, reliable third party software that people here recommend?

ShadowPlay is usually reliable and one of the best for quality vs low frame rate impact when recording - something else wrong if you are having problems with it.

There is also OBS but that tends to be kind of complicated to setup but a powerful piece of software.

MSI Afterburner has video recording built in but it is pretty hit and miss - good in some stuff, **** in other stuff.

Shadowplay is good choice. You can get up and running very quickly with it. I use OBS, but it will take a little more time to get acquainted with.

Thanks for the suggestions. The problem with Shadowplay is that not all of the replays save properly, despite the icon displaying to the contrary. It also fails to record eliminations despite being setup to do so.

Though, OBS allows you to record at 120fps which is even better for slow motion edits in video editors. Shadowplay don't have that feature. :/
