Which is the better card?

I got my X1800XT to 730MHz core under air (VF900) so that should really make it fly. I have heard of people getting it to 780MHz under water. :)

Sweet m8. It was just the Max ccc and it went there on air so like you I assumed far more on water. The X1900's look like failed 580 cores that didn't make the Mhz.

Can you remember what volts m8?
Also what did you you get out of the memory?

I can't remember the voltages I used on my X1800XT at all, but I don't think it would've been too far above stock as I'm quite paranoid about messing with voltages.

I remember stopping at 900MHz on the memory though, and leaving my card at 730/900MHz. Not because it started falling over, but because I liked the number being so round, so it probably had a bit of headroom left on that. :p

900 on the memory  , tasty.

tbh i'm just leaving at max ccc. All the games I am currently playing are running smooth at 1920x1200. Very impressive for a £110+vat card.

The R600 is sounding mighty impressive I might just wait for that.
