Thanks

You'll notice no performance difference between the Kingston and the Corsair.

The Corsair runs at 1.5V and the Kingston at 1.5-1.65V but usually it's fine at ~1.5V.

The Corsair has large heat spreaders which will get in the way if you have a large CPU cooler.

Thanks for your help, don’t consider the heat spreaders on the Corsair memory getting in the way. Cheers.

Thanks Surveyor for advice, ordered 16gig of the Kingston ram in the end, didn't want to risk getting the Corsair due to the heat spreaders.

Enjoy, what settings you using with what voltages?

Thanks for asking but only ordered yesterday with a new case, still got to get the rest of the bits “cpu- motherboard-G-card & power supply etc”, still trying to decide what to go for. One thing I’m not going to do this time is buy an overpriced motherboard and Graphics card thinking it’s future proofing, done that in the past only to find out in 6-12 months the m-board no longer supports the latest CPU’s & your £300+ G-card is being out performed by new £120 cards.
