Which is the better TV for a PS5 please

Hisense 55 Inch 55U7HQTUK Smart 4K UHD HDR QLED Freeview TV.

Or

PHILIPS 50PUS8807/12 50" Smart 4K Ultra HD HDR LED TV with Google Assistant.

Thank you
Carl
I have a Hisense 50A7GQTUK, very impressive what it does considering price I paid (£500)

The model you have linked looks very similar spec wise, of course a LG OLED will be better but it's more expensive.

If the above costs are your budget hisense tick allot of boxes feature wise for allot less money.

My PS5 looks fab on it, blacks could be a bit better. The auto switching mode for game mode is a nice feature that tv has and helps on ps5 too

£900 for a 27" IPS monitor, errgh.

She could have got him a 42" C2 OLED for that which would actually have a better picture and it's a TV as well.

There's more to the story, he's highly autistic and I think he won't be happy going from a 32 to a 27.
He also hasn't touched his PS5 in over 6 months because his right hand is dirty and contaminates everything.
Wasted money imo but I'll see his Mum tomorrow.

Ensure the TV supports 120Hz, VRR, HDM 2.1. 40fps/120Hz Gaming looks to be the next best sweet spot for nextgen gaming.

Recommending the best gaming TV you can buy? Shame.

OP is looking at £550 55" TV's and the 55" LG C1 can be had for £300 more.

Yes, so nearly double the budget which is really helpful. It's like the just wait for x crowd every time someone asks what to upgrade on their PC.

Perhaps OP can give us some context on budget and when he needs to TV by, might help some more appropriate responses that way.

I suppose it all depends what you want.
I put my PS5 through a 32" LG UHD TV that I sit one yard away from and the picture is astounding, I've never tried it on my 43" Hisense 4K and have no plans to.
I'm also not a 'Gamer' so those fine details really aren't important.

In that case, you should definitely get an OLED. I'm going to ignore your needs and budget and just suggest the best you can get.
