Hey guys,

Having personally played COD 4, WAW, MW2 and Black Ops all on Veteran and completed. I think that WAW/MW2 were the hardest. the sniping on WAW was a real pain. missions like Contigency on MW2 took time for me lol.
gonna play MW3 story soon so can't comment on that one yet :D.

Which ones do you guys think is the hardest??

Thanks

Didn't play CoD4 story. WaW was TOO hard. Seriously. I couldn't even finish it. Was stuck in the last 2/3 levels :(. I found Black Ops and MW2 easy, and an doing MW3 now. They are all easy, just take your time and place your shots. But WaW? Take your time, place your....WAAAAAAA RUN FROM A NADE, DEAD!

ive done them all except WAW which I helped my mate on, that one was by far the hardest with the biggest amount of cheap deaths in my opinion, I finished mile high club atleast 5 times and that was fine compared to WAW for me

Given I loved CoD1 and 2, 4 onwards make me want to cry :(

This is the only one on the whole series that I haven't bought on release, it's just recycled garbage these days :/

What really winds me up though is all the console fan boys who think they know everything about COD, call MW3, COD3. No it's not COD3, COD3 has been out for about 5 years. Keep up.

Point du hoc in Cod2 on Veteran was a nightmare, albeit a good fun one. The level was similar to Omaha Beach in MOHAA with Machine Gun nests everywhere, enfilade fire, trenches and fox-holes in an otherwise wide open space.

It took me forever to complete that level on Veteran! The only way to survive it is to use smoke grenades wisely, covering your next sprint forward to the next bomb crater.

When i first put CoD 4 on veteran it took me 6 attempts to make it across the bridge at the start haha, once that was out of the way it was..... well it was emotional haha remember getting in to that building past the bridge and putting night vision on for the first time and seeing the green laser dots shining everywhere, its easy to forget just how much of a landmark the first CoD MW was in FPS gaming, they say CoD's success is off of mw2 or the previous title etc but it wasnt, the whole franchise was really sky rocketed globally on 4. Been a long long time since a game impressed me the way that did

COD4, last bit of the Pripyat (sniping) mission where you have to hold out until the chopper arrives while the enemies keep spawning and spamming grenades everywhere. /thread

Argh... I had forgot about that part of Pripyat. That was indeed horrible. Luckily it had a few checkpoints during that event. Eventually I just got lucky and made it through.

I never did do Mile High Club on Veteran though.

As much as I hated the spamming of grenades. I completed WAW on Veteran pretty easily.

CoD vanilla and UO were fairly difficult. Mainly because you had a hp bar. Sure, there were healthpacks but if you got a poor checkpoint with low health, then you had to pretty much ace the next section until you found some healthpacks.

In the latest MW, I never noticed infinite spawns in any places. Did they remove them from Veteran difficult. I remember in most, if not all previous COD's that they were at least there in some places.
