Which is worth buying?

Is it worth buying a XSATA thingymabob or a Memory card to back up my saves on my Xbox 360.... because id seriously kick off if i lost all my save games that are currently saved on my hard drive!

Just get the official memory card, as it's guaranteed to work, though I've not used any other type on my 360.
