My crappy Lloyds TSB ISA has dropped to 1%.

The best I have found is Santander with a 3.3% (2.8% above base rate for 1 year) ISA that is easy access.

Just looking for comments and pointers for a new ISA. Needs to be easy access.

I think one of the best for transfers in will be Halifax at 3%.
This although it appears to be hit and miss as to whether they'll actually allow you to pay money in to the account.

I'm not prepared to post my ID because they have a habit of losing everything so I chose to take my ID in to my local branch. I've now done this three times and my account still says I need to take ID in to my local branch to be able to pay anything in to it. Given up with them now.

My girlfriend has just opened and transferred into a Halifax ISA and didnt have to post anything, it was all done in the branch.

I opened a Halifax ISA this year with no problems, transferring in cash from an old Natwest one and I've since added more money to the account. I might have been let off slightly with the ID as I signed up for a Reward Current account about a month beforehand - they requested ID to be posted to them for that but I just took it to a local branch instead. No hitches, and the online system is pretty good. The ISA rate is also slightly higher (3.2%) for reward current account holders.
