Moving into a new flat in a week or two, had hoped to continue using NTL but they don't do their thing in my soon to be neck of the woods so am gonna have to go with ADSL.

Which ISPs would you guys suggest looking into? My main asks are:

- 2meg,
- high/no download cap
- no 12 month minimum contract (only there for 6 months)

I've looked on ADSLguide but there are lots on there and I don't know which are good and which to avoid, so any input would be appreciated.

Cheers guys :).

Unless you can get LLU (Samknows is your friend), you're out of luck.

Presumably you didn't look at their compare thingy then (or the forums for each ISP)?
Nildram, Eclipse, Zen are generally well liked - and, shock horror, they come out pretty good (Tiscali included for comedy value) by comparison.

As for 2Mbps, you'll probably get up to 8Mbps from most of the (decent) ISPs now, and most decent ISPs will offer monthly contracts (but expect to have to pay the activation fee).

Thanks Tolien, Zen look to be a little expensive but Eclipse and Nildram have decent download limits and are reasonably priced.

Nildram mention speeds of upto 2meg though, does this mean it'll rarely hit that and it'll be lower on average?
