hi guys

my mum comes round to my house nearly everyday to use my PC with internet access to look the ebay, email, surfing etc

she got fed up and want a laptop, asked me to find a broadband for her

she'll be using internet for an hour every night but which ISP is best for her. most ISP are capped now but which one and how many GB per month? no hardware needed as will get her a wireless router for her

Plus.Net is no no

which ISP u'd recommend?

cheers :)

I reccomend newnet, Home S is 25gb capped and Home U is 1mb 50GB, 2mb 60GB and 8mb 80gb.

I reccomend them

mmm

Home Lite is 2GB capped but not sure if its enough for my mum

Home S is 25GB, perfect but bit pricey, she want >£15

thanks

Well, I put a lot of folk I know that just want basic email/internet use on Wanadoo.

It's 2Gb capped and I think the first 3-6 months is around £15 if that still stands and £18 after that.

The service is top notch from what I've seen and none of them have complained about it being slow or not working.

For those that want to do more with the connection then maybe its not the one but for lite users its good.

Bit of an interesting choice, but what about AAISP?

From 31st March, there will be a new 1GB tarrif, £18.99 a month.

You get 1GB between 8am and 6pm Monday to Friday, and any usage after that is unmetered. All uploads are unmetered too.

If she's only using it during the night... it might be worth a look?
