Which ISP

Virgin are doing their 2Mb service for about a tenner I believe or like 17 quid for 10Mb. Didnt mention about cable...

You're not going to get anything decent for £15 a month on BT Wholesale-based services I'm afraid - well, not without download\upload restrictions. Try UKFSN or ADSL24.

IDNet do a £14.99 a month package. However it has a really limited download cap. You don't get the decent stuff till you pay the better £24.99 a month.

But IDNet are good. They don't throttle or block ports or do traffic shaping. They also only do 1 month contracts. So you're not tied in to a long contract. Good and helpful support (all English) and will gladly have a BT engineer visit if problems cannot be resolved from their end. :) None of the usual jumping through hoops and not getting anywhere. The forum is also very good and friendly!

I'm in a similar position to you unclebob123, I've heard good things about O2 and also that they'll upgrade you to their LLU service if/when it becomes available.

They only thing I need to find out is if they can reduce the price of the broadband if I get an O2 mobile deal later on or if you need to have one when you initially register.
