There is AOL, Sky/Easynet and TalkTalk LLU presence at my girlfriends exchange, she's tried to get the Sky package but as they are unable to install Sky TV and so have had to cancel the line rental/broadband package too. This doesn't leave us with much choice.

Any recommendations?

Go with Easynet (I think UKOnline resell their connections?).

Personally even if it was for low use I would not go near either AOL or TalkTalk as they are crap.

If you can't get something from Easynet then I would say just bite the bullet and get a decent BTW provider such as Zen, though you could also look at the Enta resellers though they are not as good as they used to be it is a cheap and mostly ok service.

yeah, unfortunately i'm with AOL at the moment.

the only good thing was i got free upgrades from the back in the day 2MB to the 8MB, and last year to the 24MB
no change in the bill too, that's sweet

Only issue with easynet is that UKonline isnt exactly cheap...
For an unlimited service they're cheap compared to what else is available to her. What kind of service and speeds is she after, and what kind of speeds could she expect (line stats/line length)?

No active phoneline currently, I would guestimate maybe 12mbit or something though.
