Which ISP

Looking to change. Currently I'm with Utility Warehouse (as I had my gas and electric with them too) but don't need it here anymore.

They were quite good as they didn't cap but quite expensive.

What deals are people going for at the moment?

I can't get Virgin in my area (btw)

o2/Be or sky, stay away from anyone else as it will be an awful BT product.

Sadly, quoted for truth.

The only two LLU networks available at your place which are worth considering are Be* and Sky... so yeah, I'd look at www.bethere.co.uk

Virginmedia are constantly throttling my internet, and talktalk don't look much better.

I put my number into Be and it says service unavailable. It's doing this with all broadband providers. Is the service down?

Since you're in Bournemouth, why not see if you can get FibreCity

It's a proper Fibre to the Home project. 100Mb/s speeds, burstable to 1Gb/s

Good niche ISP's are Xilo, TitanADSL or ADSL24

Rang them, they said the project was on hold anyway and that they weren't carrying out an installations for the forseeable future!

bethere can't help because the current phone number is not with BT (it's with utility warehouse), and they can't find my address through their postcode system. FFS
