Which joypad and what racing game

I have used a joystick for racers and its ok but i want to try a pad, is the 360 pad the best. Is a pad the best options I dont want a wheel.

I want a racing game to go with above not too arcady but not too pure sim either.

I Have played Moto GP 2 and Grid in the past and enjoyed it, I 1st began PC gaming on Geoff Crammond F1 on a 486 and loved that too

I have Logitech Rumble Pad2 and Xbox360 pad- logi is perfect for ProEvoSoccer (dont play it any longer though- the game's gone to complete rubbish); Xbox pad is perfect for arcade racing due to analogue triggers.

Why won't you get a wheel?

If space is the issue, just do what I do and store it under the desk when you're not using it

I have just installed my PS3 pad on my PC for Grid and think it is fantastic

. I have seen that the 360 pad is very good with the PC also, however I don't have one of those to hand

360 and grid although multiplayer requires using tunnels it's still my fav racing game

Grid is the best driving game period if playing with joypad. But Shift2 with a steering wheel is much more fun still
