Which keyboard ?

Hi all, I am after a bit of advice for a good keyboard. I want a nice rgb keyboard for a lot of coding and also gaming. I work most days at home and spend a good 10 hours at the PC mainly coding but also a lot of gaming.

I currently have a Microsoft sidewinder X4 and I have no idea what to get instead. its the last part of my setup that needs replacing. I just bought a Razer Mamba elite, which I love and was going to get a Razer black widow with orange switches as I don't want the noise, but its a lot of cash for something i cant currently go an test and wont be able to for the foreseeable future. I also like the look of the steel series apex 7 with red or brown switches but the same problem exists.

All thoughts welcome.

I think I will chance an apex 7, any thoughts on red or brown ? Bear in mind that my current keyboard uses membrane.

Well found a Corsair K70 Lux with brown switches refurbished from a good well know supplier for £87 so am going to give that a go.

Corsair K70 Mark II Cherry MX Speed switches. I got these several days ago, really enjoying them compared to Cherry MX black switches, the RGD is a nice touch but I got this keyboard due to its build quality and ease of cleaning between the keys.

Yes got my lux with brown switches on Saturday. Fabulous buy, can't believe its taken me this long. Bf5 scores not much better though

but at least I can't blame my tools

Just ordered this today, looking forward to trying it tomorrow. Never used a mechanical keyboard before so should be interesting!

It will take some time to get used to it, but its much easier to press down keys compared to cherry mx black switches. In the long run, you will enjoy this keyboard for gaming.
