Hi guys,
I've got around £800, would like to go less - but if needed I suppose I could go up to £1000 but only if the benefits were big!
I will basically taking this laptop to uni to use instead of the Uni macs. I just can't get on with the macs at my uni at all, the mouse are horrible - and I just generally hate MAC OSX. Its not something I can/will get used to, I've been attempting to use it for 2/3 months now.
Anyway, looking for a good solid laptop which is portable enough to take to uni - but something not too small so that the screen is impossible to use to design on while at uni. The programs I will be using are photoshop, illustrator, flash and maybe adobe after effects/premiere - but not so much. If the video editing is a problem I can always use my main rig for that sort of stuff.
Gaming would be a plus, but not necessary.
Been looking at the Dells, but just wondering if theres anything else within my budget?
Thanks!
