Which laptop for work and portability?

I have a 15.6 laptop which is a pain to carry around and would like to get a new laptop so that it is easy to carry around and do work on.

I have come down to two options which are:

Asus Vivobook S200 or Samsung NP530U3C

The pricing of both laptops is only £100 difference. Is it easy to do work on a 11.6 or 13.3? I noticed the Vivobook has a glossy screen, would it be a nuisance to work on due to reflections etc.? Would Windows 8 be hard to use for non touch laptops?

Really stuck on which one to go for as both are awesome in real life.

depends on what you are used on.

my new job now I have an HP Probook 15 inch, which, having had a netbook for the previous 3 years, is surprisingly light and easy to carry around.

As for what screen is better to do work on, depends on the work really.

I never found a 10 inch screen sufficient for any kind of work, so would not advice on the 11.6 one.

Also, having installed windows 8 on my desktop, I would imagine it wouldn't be hard to use on a laptop with no touch screen.
