Which Laptop Processor?

Hi Guys

Helping someone to buy a new laptop. They are a business user, looking for a mid range laptop that can get everyday stuff like Word, graphic design, browsing the web, managing photo archives etc done.

They have found a laptop at £350 they quite like. Which processors should I be looking at for the £350 to £500 level, as I might persuade them to spend a bit more if it's worth it.

OK, thanks for the reply.

I was thinking along the lines of should I go with Windows 8, or is Win 7 actually better. I'll probably go with the newest though.

Are there different versions of Win 8, I'm slightly out of the loop.

Looks like Intel Core i3's and i5's if you go a bit more expensive.

Graphic design would be Photoshop CS3, Fireworks, Illustrator CS3, although I might upgrade to Adobe Creative Cloud.
