Which laptop will be better for gaming?

Which laptop will be better for gaming. The Dell 15 7000 or ASUS N550JK



Dell 15 7000 specs:
intel i7 4510u
Nvidia 750m 2GB GDDR5
16GB DDR3 Ram
1TB HDD with 8GB Cache SSD


Or

Asus N550JK specs:
Intel i7 4710HQ
Nvidia GeForce GTX 850 2GB DDR3
8GB DDR3 Ram
1TB HDD with 8GB Cache SSD
 
It would be the Dell 15 7000 because of the better graphic card, however the CPU on the Asus is much better performance wise still with the graphics on that you should practically run most games for sure.

gaming laptop - this is by far and away the most important component!
 
That is quite difficult actually. The 850m is a better GPU but DDR3 will utterly cripple it. I still think it will be slightly faster than the 750m with GDDR5 but the difference will be much less than the 850m should be capable of.

750m - 384 Kepler cores, 16 ROPS, 128bit GDDR5
850m - 640 Maxwell cores, 16 ROPS, 128bit DDR3 (should be GDDR5 FFS...)

Honestly I would try to find one with at least a 850/860m with GDDR5.
