I've been trawling the internet for a while now and have only come across a few screens with a decent sRGB gamut and was wondering if anyone knows of other I have missed. It seems hard to find good comparison of multiple laptop screens. It would be great if there was a table of all recent laptops showing % of gamut coverage.
so far I have seen
Dell M4700 - too bulky and heavy
HP elitebook
Acer Aspire 8920G
Clevo Horize P151EM1
Ideally looking for;
15inch
90+sRGB (photo editing)
Around 2.5kg
optical drive - blu ray if possible.
backlit keyboard would be nice.
discrete graphics for medium graphical gaming (Source, eve and the like. Tend to play older games or less demanding ones)
decent processor for editing and such.
Probably a lot to ask for a laptop so I am also open to installing components myself if not too complicated i.e. ssd, more ram etc if it will keep costs down. Possible to install blu ray reader in place of a bog standard dvdrw? Slot loading is likely to be more difficult? How are warranties likely to go with upgrading?
Budget £1000-1500.
