Which LGA775 Cooler?

I have a 6600 and the stock cooler's pretty noisy. I'm after a quiet solution - not bothered about overclocking etc, quite happy to run at stock speeds.
Just checked OCs huge selection of coolers but there's so many!

If not overclocking then just run the fan on low in the bios.

I've got a Scythe Ninja on mine. Apart from it being a bit too big (takes up a lot of case space & doesn't fit on some motherboards), it's excellent

I too have a Scythe Ninja and it is virtually silent. I would check the dimensions and see if it will fit the motherboard, and indeed your case!

Having said that, a Scythe Ninja might be overkill if you don't plan to OC. The Zalman and Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 are very good and also very quiet.

Have a look in MM, you might find yourself a bargain. The Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro CPU Cooler (Socket 775) is a good option for you
