Which of the new lian cases would people recommend if my main goal was noise reduction followed by cooling?
I don't plan any fancy water cooling or massive SLI setups; just looking for a spacious case with adequate airflow and as little noise/vibration as possible.

thanks

The v100z looks like the PC-V1010B but with a perforated front bezel; i would have thought that that would increase the noise.

Perhaps but it should work great for pulling air in. I'm going to kit mine out with noctua fans as apparently the stock ones are quite loud. Also gonna get a fan controller as opposed to the little one they supply on the case. Does look like they have a lot of anti-vibration features inside the case.

I found another retailer who said they are expecting it no later than the end of June. I will be buying it from OcUK though if they stock it.

Direct noise escape paths do that always unless components are absolutely noiseless.
For best acoustic performance door or baffle is required in front.

And for vibration, meaning background noise present after quieting fans, it's always better to prevent it in first place than try to dampen it because you would need really lot of mass for cancelling its effect totally. So soft mounting (V1000Z's plastic rails ain't that) is good starting point, even then you should avoid heavily vibrating HDD models.
This is where steel's high weight has its advantage, it vibrates less exactly because of much higher density/weight...

I know good things come to those who wait...
How do you know that Duke Nukem Forever will be that good? :p

The V2010A looks good but I don't know how important that annoying bar across the middle of it is; if you remove it does it affect the case stability/vibration? The should have drilled more holes to let you move it left/right.

I don't think it has really any effect to those. I would see it helping only if you were going to "sit on top of case" or put some heavy weight there.
It's also quite late addition to basic frame designs of Lian Li and was probably made because of some very long and heavy graphic cards.
