Which lightweight office laptop for £700(ish)?

What laptops would people recommend that meet the following requirements:
Used primarily for office work (spreadsheets and documents etc.), web browsing and that's about it.

The only restrictive factor is size - it needs to be around 1.5kg.

The IBM Thinkpad range goes down to about £400 for the lowest model. Have a look at those for your price range.
Highly recommended.

The only restrictive factor is size - it needs to be around 1.5kg.

Size is physical. Weight is something different.
