which linux for cpanel

I'm installing a cpanel server and the guide says use Centos, however Centos doesnt recognise my onboard lan card (ASROCK G41M-VS3 board with Atheros AR8152 LAN).

so either how to I get the lan card to be recognised or what other Linux distro can I use?

Hmm, cpanel and Centos go hand in hand unfortunately. It might be easier to add a PCI network card rather than stray away from the classic combo. I think the only other supported options are Redhat and Cloudlinux.

I doubt it. Cpanel likes Redhat derivatives.

Buy a cheap PCI NIC off an auction site and stick with the CentOS option.
