That is what I would be ordering if I wanted to do CPU, and obviously add whatever block/s for GPU/s and maybe consider a second radiator, 1 at 120 should do for 1 GPU

could some one guide me into how do i make the coolant red, i know i use a dye but would like it glow(uv), how would i do this, have i missed a uv red dye?
also what tubeing would you recomend so 1/2 or 3/8. (i have choosen swifttech apogee xt cpu block)

sorry for the noobness

well, i dont min dforking up a lot of money if its worth it(up to 300ish)
oh and i will be cooling my cpu and my gpu and if possible anything else really(ram and mobo)but again mainly cpu and gpu. could some one please give me a list of what i need and the manaufacturers; i dont need a kit but not botherd and dont mind buying seperatley if thats better.

just in case, sys specs:
-coolermaster haf x case
-intel i7(lga115) 2600k (going to overclock high like 4-5ghz)
-8gb dual channel corsair dominator gt ram
-1200w psu (corsair ax1200)
-gpu, hopefully the new gtx590 or 6990

YOu are going to waste your ££££ the 2600 will clock the same if its under water or not...
If its was me i would see what your chip will do then take it from there.

If your looking for a loop for the 590/6990 the few FPS you will gain will NOT out weight the cost.
Take it from the ppl that know.

Dont know why i bother to post ppl never read it!
But whatever you go and spend £300 on some glow in the dark tubes and flashing LEDs just so you can have a nice Sig.

Dont use dye, primochill lrt is about the best for colour, bend radius and anti leech. Perhaps watercooling wont make much difference to his overclock but as with a lot of builds its about more than that. For me silence is golden and i really enjoyed putting the loop together as well as the look of it all. Is it worth all that money? Thats purely dependant on more than just the performance figures.

yes, originally i was going to air cool it with a coolermaster v10, but the heat sink is very big and does not give enough room for my dominator gt ram. so i decided i will go for water cooling, since wont consume as much space on the cpu. and as for the uv tube and colour that is just purley for looks. i would like to have a good looking pc.

and thanks jeffyB for the primochill, i nver heard of them untill now, shoul di use 3/8id ot 1/2id? i think i wouldnt need the 1/2id tube, bu ti would like to hear what you pro's say. thanks

Ye not sure about that tbh.

If it was me i would just spend the £££ on a 3rd/4th GPU. Why bother with an extreme mother board and not use it.

Dont get me wrong i have water and Phase, but the water loop i have cost £60 and keeps the 2x5970s @60c over 10hours running.

Neon+LEDs Dont= FPS and at the end of the day you dont buy 2x580s to play solitaire.

1/2inc on the Tube. Looks better and works better.

Hose size makes no difference to temps so go with what you like the look of and have the space for. Smaller hose will keep overall costs down as the both the hose and fittings will be cheaper. I have a preference for 1/2nd 3/4 od hose which is what I used in my build. I just like the chunky look more.

hi, thanks for everyones opinions, i think the 1/2id tube will proably be better and does anybody know what the 5inch 1/4 bay reservoirs with the temp display/controll are called? ive seen them last time on someone elses build but cannot find it again.

Im busy building my sandybridge system and have only the mobo and cooler left to purchase. I have an antec psu and case and I have been very impressed with the quality of there goods, likewise I have always used corsair memory in older systems and that has also been very reliable so my cooler choice is going to be either:

- antec kühler h2o 620
- corsair h70

could anyone who knows about these coolers let me know how they perform, the antec kuhler h2o 620 is significantly cheaper and supposedly on par performance wise with the corsair h70

i originally bought the scythe ninja 3 as i prefer air to liquid but my corsair vengeance memory is huge and its not going to fit, how is the khuler h20 for size? does it conflict with the memory at all?

as far as i can tell, from what i have read, BAppleton the size wont conflict with your ram(same reason im going water). and according to some benchmarks i have read the antec khuler is on par with h70, and in some has pulled ahead, but again in others h70 pulled ahead.(i also heard the 620 was to compete with h50/h60 and 920 with h70?)
