Has anyone got any suggestions on a low profile cooler to suit the upcoming Silverstone ML08?
It has got to be under 58mm tall.
I was looking at the Thermalright AXP100 but cannot find one anywhere.
It will be cooling a I7 4770k on a b85 itx board so no overclocking just after quieter than stock cooler really

Try Google'ing for "AXP-100" and then select "shopping

All AXP-100 models are basically the same cooler. Some don't have the fancy caps on end of pipes or adapter with 120mm fan mounts, but performance is same.

Thanks, I did find the AXP100 muscle.
Nearly ordered it till I saw it doesn't come with the bigger fan brackets.
Same thing puts me off that silvretta is the smaller fan.

Scythe Big Shuriken is good.

Honestly I've used the AXP-100 sense it was first released and tested it with both stock and bigger fans. Even used a special adapter shroud so all air from bigger fans went into cooler. The cooling difference with bigger fans is negligible if any at all. Same applies to noise levels. The TY-100 are very good little fans. I made a custom shroud and have two of then on my GPU too. :D

Thanks :D Not perfect, but more accurate than most reviewers testing is .. because most of them use room ambient instead of the important air temperature, the air going into cooler.

I usually change at least a one or two a month for testing and evaluation.;)

You could get away with the SCSK-1100 version of the Shuriken if you're not planning on overclocking. Out of curiosity, how come you went for the K series chip on a B85 MB?

edit: Scratch that - looks like it'd be a few mil too high! Was just being cheap ;)
