hi all just wandering what m/b to go for i currently have a q6600 cpu and an ati 4870 1gb gpu, i was thinking about a new m/b with crossfire support then later on when i got the money obviously a second 4870, i dont overclock and if i would it wouldnt need to be massive oc, so basically a half decent m/b with 2 x16 pci express slots, any help would be appreciated.

A 4870 runs the same on x8 pci-e 2.0 as it does on x16 pci-e 2.0.
The pci-e 2.0 spec is still too high for todays cards, so you dont really need x16 slots. The next gen graphics cards may change this, but for now it doesnt matter.
If you really want 2 x16 pci ex, you will need a x48 motherboard, which dont seem to clock as well as p45 and cost more.
