Got a decision to make do I go for the entry level 15" MBP or Top of the range MBA?

I'm pretty much decided to go down the Pro route due to the better spec, bigger screen and the new tech (Thunderbolt) but is there anything that I should consider before committing? Also are there any upgrades to the entry level 15" that are worth doing? The Hi-Res screen for instance?

Cheers :)

Great screen is worth paying a bit more for. I wouldn't bother with SSD - it's crap. OS X will run fine with the standard CPU and RAM - unless you have money to burn.

But as above, this may change if you have a specific need in mind.

Mainly remote support and ocuk tbh :)

The hi-res screen worth the extra then?

Well its been ordered. Went with the entry level 15" MBP but with the improved screen. I was going to wait till Lion came out but need it now tbh

Well she turned up today and I fired up for the first time following the football, sooooo much nicer to use than my previous MBP which the g/f now has so she's happy now as well as she's never had her own laptop before

So so pleased with it, question though I'm somewhat concerned about the battery seeing as the one in my previous macbook is more or less shot after what cant be more than 3 years so how should I treat the battery with this one to pro-long it's life?

Thanks :)
